Happy Thursday!

Greetings and "Happy 4th of July Eve"! I love the eve of a great holiday - don't you??? Be it Christmas Eve, Birthday Eve - 4th of July Eve! Ahh- it just doesn't matter! LOL

I got some VERY VERY VERY exciting news today - and I just can't wait to share it... but I can't share it today!!! Sorry :(

I have to wait - but I am sooo excited about it!!! Whoo Hoooo!!! (I promise as soon as I can share it I will though!) It is a huge honor and I think it will really be a great stepping stone for Beloved Keepsakes as a whole!!! (Oh I am doing the happy dance here!! Be thankful you can't see through this screen!!! Bahaha!!)

Do you have wonderful plans for the 4th??? For the first time in a long time - there is soooo many things happening and so many invitations to cool things - we actually just don't know what to do! LOL But that's a great problem to have in my book!

I hope that I will be able to enjoy a little time to scrap this holiday weekend - not sure if that will happen or not. It seems so long since I have actually had time to sit down and scrap. Between designing electronic cutter files for Paperthreads and actually cutting and assembling titles and die cuts for the NEW Beloved Keepsakes Store.... I have just been so busy I haven't really taken the time to scrap and I miss it!

Hmmm speaking of scrapping - I think in honor of the 4th of July, Freedom and Independence - I'll leave you with one of my favorite layouts of all time! This is a layout that I did about Hubby's homecoming from the last really big deployment that he went on! (He's done a few smaller deployments since then - but this was the last really longgggg one!) FYI - If you click on the layout you can get a larger view!

Hope you enjoy looking at it!

In closing I hope you all have a very HAPPY 4TH of JULY!!!

Until Next Time!

PS -If you are new to my blog - I'm still looking for product testers for the new Beloved Keepsakes Scrapbooking Store. You can read more about that by clicking HERE. (It is about half way down the entry!)

Happy Hump Day!!!

Hello!!! How ya doing?? Hot there? Busy??? (Ok - so I really don't have much to talk about today! I'll be honest!! This is my stalling technique - is it working??) Bahahaha!!!

I have been busy as usual! I was talking to my fellow designer "Shirley Clark" today and we were both contemplating where does the time go? There just doesn't seem to be enough of it lately!!!

I swear I have been busy... just today I have cleaned and defraged both of our laptops, I returned emails, I contacted a few vendors that I want to start carrying their stuff on my website. Hmmm, I filled two orders and got them mailed out. I mailed out some free die cuts and titles to a few people who have agreed to be product testers for me! Decided what I am going to cook for dinner. Ate lunch - late of course, scanned my ball photo and emailed it out to my family... Oh and I made the bed...

See.... I have been busy!!!!

So here is the photo from the ball.... as I said yesterday I am not sure who that chubby girl is!! (When did that happen???)

Also I had a couple people ask me about my sugar free chocolate pies... Well here is the truth... I don't have a recipe! What I did was I purchased some of those little individual pie crusts (some places call them tart crusts - they are about three inches in diameter) and I took six of them and poked holes in them and then baked them in the oven for on 350 degrees until they were brown (about 14 min).

Then I took two packs of the "Hersey's Sugar Free Chocolate" and I unwrapped them, placed them in a glass bowl with about a Tablespoon of butter and I melted them in the microwave (that took about 2 min, checking and stirring it about every min).

Then once that was melted I took the Sugar Free Cool Whip and I mixed about half the container in with the chocolate until it was all mixed up really well (I told you there wasn't a recipe! I'm a make it up as I go type girl!!!) Then I took the mixture and poured it in my mini pie crusts and placed them in the refrigerator to set!
Talk about yummy!!!!! And since I used Sugar Free Chocolate and Sugar Free Cool Whip the only thing that has sugar in it is the crust - and it is only 1 gram per indivdual crust!!!

So there you have it!

Ok I am off to finish up these "Land of Enchantment" files!! I swear I will get them done sooner rather than later!

Hubby is off for FOUR wonderful days starting tomorrow - so I may be hit or miss for the next few days!! But I promise - I'll see ya soon!

Until Next Time!

Happy Tuesday!

Ok - so if you're wondering about the titles of my post this week I have decided I am going to try and be "HAPPY" every day - even if I am not!!! Bahahaha.....

It has been a busy busy busy day to say the least! First of all make sure you check out "The Beloved Keepsakes Gallery" as I just got done uploading SEVEN new layouts!!! There is some pretty amazing things over there! You do not what to miss it!!!

Speaking of the Gallery - you know I am always looking for examples of my work right?!?!?! So if you have used one of our cutter files or one of our pre-cut/pre-assembled titles or dies in one of your projects - please send us a photo so we can showcase it in our gallery!!!

What else - Hmmmm....I got all my bills paid! Finally! I hate the 1st and the 15th! But someone has to do it - and The Lord knows I am much better at keeping track of it than the hubby is!!! But it is still so time consuming and I guess part of it is the fact that I know that it HAS to be done! It isn't a choice, ya know what I mean??? I am so thankful that we have been blessed enough to have the funds to pay our bills every month and I guess when I think about it that way - I shouldn't be complaining huh!!!!

Moving on - we have company coming over for dinner tonight! Sheesh! So I got my twice baked potatoes ready to go in the oven, my steaks are marinating and I made my sugar free individual chocolate pies made! Wheew..... I tell you I have been hooking and jabbing!!!

Probably the most exciting thing is that I got our photos from the last military ball in the mail! They actually turned out half way decent! (Ok they turned out really well - I just don't like to think that that chubby double chinned girl is me!!! Bahahaha!!!) If I get a chance I will get that scanned in and shared with you all tomorrow.

I am off to finish up dinner and HOPEFULLY get some work done. I still have files to test cut and convert and I realized today I have about 80 NEW PRODUCTS that need to be upload at the Beloved Keepsakes Scrapbooking store!!! No rest for the weary they say!!!!

Ok I am out of here - and you need to hop on over to The Gallery!!!

Until Next Time!

Happy Monday....

Or NOT!!!! LOL It has been a very trying Monday to say the least! Does anyone want a four month old puppy??? He is hard headed! Stubborn, loud, whiny and a royal pain in the you know what! I swear... I have no clue WHAT WE WERE THINKING when we got another dog!!!!

Other than the dog driving me crazy, there are a few issues that Hubby and I am trying to deal with... nothing overly major... all of them job related. But they will effect us. I just hope that we can see through the fog and figure out which one of the paths we have before us is God path... the one that he laid down for us... and I pray that we pick the right path and then that we have peace that it is the right choice once we make it! (Sometimes I just wish God would look down from the heavens and say - "Hello down there...Since you are asking I think you need to do_____!" Man - how great would that be?!?!?! Bahahaha)

This weekend was a little on the busy side.... We kind of hung out on Saturday then went to Church on Saturday night! I saw my dear friend Susan who I haven't seen in a while... it was good to see her! I had been missing her for a while - but seeing her made me realize just how much I was missing her.... isn't that funny how that works?

On Sunday we went down to FL, did a little shopping at Gander Mountain and then head to my best friend's house! It was her 29th birthday! (Hmmm, I seem to recall we have been celebrating her 29th birthday for SEVERAL years now!!! Bahahaha). As always it was great to see her!

Oh, on Friday I got 14 of my nineteen new titles cut! You should be sooo proud! I hope to get the rest cut today and then get them all converted and uploaded by the end of the week!

Tomorrow is the first day of July! Whooo Hooo!! And I have some GREAT plans for July! You don't want to miss hanging out here on my blog this month! I promise you that! More details to come soon!

Well I better get off this computer, turn on my dehumidifier and get back to cutting! (Can you say hot and sticky??? That is what it is like here! I think our temp is only 83 degrees but with the heat index and the humidity it feels like 92 degrees!!! Last I checked our humidity level was 69%!!!)

Until Next Time!
